The preparatory meeting for commemoration for the 151st birthday of Sun Yat-sen was convened by Zhongshan Municipal Committee of CPPCC at Chinese Tunic Suit Museum days before. The meeting discussed the feasibility of potential activities about commemorating Sun Yat-sen's 151st birthday and related programs proposed by some institutions within the profession.

It is the 151st anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth this year. Zhongshan CPPCC Committee aims to conduct serial commemorating activities themed on "Sun Yat-sen culture exchanges and cooperation" with relevant regions, departments and institutions. The preparation for the activities is in progress.
