The 2018 Zhongshan Tourism Product Design Competition sponsored by Zhongshan Tourism Bureau started in Guzhen Town on the morning of March 18. The competition, themed on "Intelligent Manufacturing and Happy Shopping", focuses on the cultural connotation of the manufacturing process and the shopping experience.

The competition consists of three categories: creative commodities contest, innovative specialty products contest, and souvenirs contest.

A series of special activities for characteristic industries in Zhongshan, such as lighting, will be held simultaneously during the competition to encourage the in-depth development of tourism products relying on industrial resources.
