Zhongshan cartoonist Fang Cheng celebrated his 100th birthday on June 10, 2018. Two days earlier, the publishing conference of “The Complete Works of Fang Cheng” was held in Zhongshan.

The collection, which includes 4 volumes 18 books in total, is the first complete set of Fang Cheng’s cartoon works created from 1935 to 2015. “The Complete Works of Fang Cheng” is also an artistic gift for the 40th anniversary of the reform and opening-up of Zhongshan city and will be on sale next month in The 10th Zhongshan Book Fair.

Fang Cheng, whose original family home was in Zuobu Village in Nanlang town, Zhongshan city, was born in Beijing in 1918. He shared the “Three Masters of Chinese Cartoon Industry” title with Ding Cong and Hua Junwu.
