The 2018 Nanlang Piao-se Tourism Festival opened at 9am on June 18. Tens of thousands of citizens and Hong Kong and Macao folks participated in the event. 

The 28-palette Piao-se of Nalang Town was performed in the parade in addition to township intangible cultural heritage projects such as “Shaxi Crane Dance”, “West District Drunken Dragon”, “Huangpu Piao-se”, and etc. Local themed floats, corporate themed floats, and performance teams of schools and communities in Nanlang also joined the parade.

In the evening that day, Nanlang held a cultural show for celebration of the 40th anniversary of reform and opening, the 30th anniversary of Zhongshan being upgraded to prefecture-level city, and the 20th anniversary of the removal and merger of three towns in Nanlang.
