China women's basketball team, who arrived in Zhongshan earlier for preparation for The 18th Asian Games Jakarta, opened the training and was interviewed by the media on August 7. Chief coach Xu Limin expressed that the team is in good condition and spirits, as Zhongshan has similar weather condition with that in Jakarta, Indonesia. 

The team will also have two closed training matches with Guangdong Hongyuan when staying in Zhongshan. Team members will also have a half-day break for visiting Sun Yat-sen’s former residence.

China women's basketball team will stay in Zhongshan until August 12. Then they will head to Jakarta.
