The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Music Education and Arts Development Alliance (MEADA) was founded in Guangzhou city on September 12.
It is reported that the alliance was jointly initiated by well-known musicians from Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao, including Li Haiying, the famous composer, and Jolland Chan, Hong Kong professional musician.
At the founding ceremony, the MEADA Music Innovation Industry Base was announced to settle in Haiying Music Valley in Tsuihang Music Small Town of Zhognshan city.
Reportedly, the planned area of Tsuihang Music Small Town is about 7sqkm, including the 600mu-large Haiying Music Valley (Stage 1) that focuses on development of music education, creation, performance, experience, tourism and other music-related cultural industries.
Musical project “Ruan Lingyu” sponsored jointly by Zhongshan and Xinghai Conservatory of Music was officially launched on the same day.
