The 2018 Zhongshan National Science Day Activity was held at Zhongshan Arboretum on September 15. 

There were more than 40 science booths, covering science performance, interesting experiments, scientific achievements exhibition for science popularization education bases and demonstration schools and etc, set up in the activity.

The Youth Science Popularization Week will also kick off in November in West District, according to staff of Zhongshan City Association for Science and Technology.

Reportedly, Zhongshan made great efforts on science popularization in communities, schools, villages and enterprises in the first half of the year. The Science Lecturer Mission, formed by over 100 local scientific experts, was founded to provide “menu-type science popularization” for basic units and the masses. In addition, more than 20 science exhibitions had been held across the city.
