The nominee list of The 10th Pass The Flame 2018 Selection organized by China Culture Relics Protection Foundation was recently announced. Sun Yat-sen’s granddaughters Sun Suiying and Sun Suihua were both nominated “Outstanding Individual”.

The selection aims to commend individuals and teams with great contribution in cultural relics protection and propaganda and to carry forward their stories and dedication spirits.

Reportedly, Sun Suiying and Sun Suihua donated up to 1,000 pieces of cultural relics and historical materials to Sun Yat-sen Former Residence Museum and Zhongshan Museum over the past many years.

In November of 2016, Sun Suiying and Sun Suihua were awarded “Honorary Citizen of Zhongshan”.
