The 4-day World Cup Universal Open Championship 2018 cum CEFA China National Dance Championship 2018 concluded in Shenzhen on October 28. Ten Zhongshan students stood out from the competition and were selected international ballroom dancing (IBD) national youth team.

They are the first Zhongshan dancers to be selected national youth team.

Reportedly, there will be opportunities for the ten students to participate in international competitions such as Blackpool Dance Festival and the Asian Games representing China in the future.
