It is the 152nd anniversary of Sun Yat-sen’s birth this year. To cherish Sun Yat-sen’s achievements and carry forward his revolutionary ideas, all walks of life in Zhongshan organized a number of commemorative activities.

The commemoration of the 152nd anniversary of Sun Yat-sen’s birth was held at The Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen on November 12. Over 200 persons attended the activity. During the ceremony, all participants made three bows and presented flower baskets to Sun Yat-sen’s portrait to honor his memory.

Sun Bisheng, representing Sun Yat-sen’s family, donated 10,000 yuan to Red Cross Society of China Zhongshan Branch on behalf of Sun Sui-ying and Sun Sui-hua, who both won “Outstanding Individual” title of The 10th Pass The Flame 2018 Selection previously.

The “Sun Yat-sen’s Family Collection Exhibition” was opened afterwards. It displays a total of 65 pieces (sets) of objects and 113 photos Sun Sui-ying, Sun Sui-hua and Sun Jia-yu donated to The Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen in recent years.

Besides, The Museum of Dr Sun Yat-sen will held research activity of intangible cultural heritage and “Sun Yat-sen and Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao” exhibitions within the month to spread Sun Yat-sen’s patriotic spirit, revolutionary spirit and dedication spirit.
