The opening ceremony of the 8th Guangdong Public Welfare Voluntary Culture Festival action day cum the river protection voluntary action was held at Qijiang Park on December 5, the 33rd International Volunteer Day.

“He Xiao Qing” hiking river protection voluntary team, cycling river protection voluntary team and rowing river protection voluntary team carried out voluntary services including mother river protection propaganda, sewage discharge supervision, water quality testing, river patrol and recording, and etc.

The organizer also issued trophies and certificates to the winners of the 6th Guangdong Voluntary Service Gold Awards from all over the province, and presented the prizes to “Model Youth Volunteers of Zhongshan 2018” and gold award winners of “Yixian Cup” Zhongshan Student Voluntary Project Competition 2018.
