Nearly 16,000 runners competed in Zhongshan Marathon 2018 on the morning of December 16 regardless of cold and rainy weather.

The race track this year passed historical and cultural landscapes such as Qijiang Park, Qijiang Bridge, Sunwen Road West Pedestrian Street and Zimaling Park as well as urban greening sites such as Xingzhong Avenue and Bo'ai Road.

Chinese runner Ba Xianwei won the men's full marathon with a time of 2 hours 31 minutes and 50 seconds. In the women's full marathon, Chinese runner Li Hongying claimed the first place with a time of 3 hours 10 minutes and 28 seconds.
