The exhibition on commemorating the 40th anniversary of reform and opening up of Zhongshan is being held at Zhongshan Expo Center. Over 5,500 people visited the exhibition during the opening week, some of which were children led by parents. There was also interpretation of exhibition tailored for them.

A 40-year-old farther said, the exhibition taught him how to tell the history of the past 40 year of Zhongshan to his son. Reportedly, many parents took their children to visit the exhibition, but sometimes they felt hard to explain the terms and the policies to them.

The tour guides of the exhibition have found out the problems so they provided special commentaries for the children to understand the history of Zhongshan. They are trying to use interactive approaches and vivid storytelling to the children.
