"Book showing" is a traditional custom in China. Now, the word "showing" is given the meaning of "sharing".

The "Book Showing Party" for the 17th Zhongshan Reading Month campaign was held a few days before in Sanxiang Town to provide readers with a cultural exchange platform for recommending, reviewing, exchanging, donating books and making friends with books.

There were 26 booths set up by schools, companies and families this year for book exchanges.

It's reported that the Book Showing Party activity has been held in Sanxiang Town 5 consecutive years.
