South District on May 5 conducted an activity to mark the 100th anniversary of the May 4th Movement at the former residence of Liu Guangsheng in Shuchong Village.

Liu Guangsheng's former residence was unveiled as a "red history" education base for youths in Zhongshan. Official representatives of the Party History Research Center of Zhongshan CPC Committee led the teenagers to recall the revolutionary days of Liu Guangsheng.

On the day, South District also commended the winners of the 2019 "Role Models Around Us" selection, including 3 advanced units and 11 advanced individuals. A total of 25 new Communist Youth League members made a simple but grand swearing in ceremony in front of Liu Guangsheng's former residence.
