The 2019 "Panda Cup" Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Youth Baseball League and The Slow Pitch Softball League will kick off on September 18 in Dongsheng Town, Zhongshan City. The competition will last for 5 days.

The event is designed to enhance deep cooperation among sports departments, baseball and softball associations, clubs and other organizations within the Greater Bay Area and create an exchange and consensus-building platform for the youth.

In addition, Zhongshan will host 2 Asian events, 7 national games and 3 brand competitions related to baseball in 2019.
