Founded in 1957, Fujian Song and Dance Theatre is the only provincial-level professional troupe engaged in music and dance creation and performance in Fujian Province. Over the past 60 years, Fujian Song and Dance Theatre has created and performed a large number of excellent plays (performances), including "Walking in the Rain", "Dance of Color Balls" and "Girls Picking Tea Leaves and Chasing Butterflies" that were prevailing in the 1950s and 1960s.
