Qiusuo Bookstore, the first large-scale integrated bookstore in Guzhen Town, started its trial operation on May 31. 

The 1,500-square-meter bookstore is located on the second floor of Guzhen Lihe Plaza. Different areas are differentiated by the color of the bookshelves: the children's area is decorated with pink, baby blue and pastel yellow shelves and wood floors, and the adult area is equipped with walnut bookshelves and a coffee bar. 

There is also a "time tunnel" in the bookstore, where holographic projection interactive game devices will be installed in the future. At the end of the tunnel, there are a training room and a idea sharing room. 

Many residents in Guzhen are glad for the opening of the bookstore. Miss Su, who works in Lihe Plaza, says there are quite a few commercial complexes in the town, but most of them are themed on lighting. As a parent, she looks forward to more projects and areas for parent-child activity.

However, some worry the business condition of the bookstore. Lu Ling, General Manager of Qiusuo Bookstore, says they are exploring a new development pattern and planning to introduce more reading experience activities and science-related education and training programs in the future, in an effort to achieve sustainable development.
