The First Zhongshan Cyber Culture Festival was officially launched in June, 2019. This activity will continue until the end of December.

The festival specially features "The Zhongshan 70 Persons Series Micro Documentaries", with the theme of "Happiness is the Result of Struggle". It aims to showcase the social development of Zhongshan and reflect the great historical changes made within the last 70 years since the founding of the People's Republic of China. The documentaries record the history of struggle of 70 people working at ordinary posts in Zhongshan. At present, the "Zhongshan Daily" app has opened up a column for related special reports and launched 6 micro videos.

The organizer will also hold the "New Media Master Sharing Meeting for Celebrating the 70th Anniversary of the Founding of the People's Republic of China and the Summary Symposium of the First Cyber Culture Festival" in December. At that time, dozens of industry guests will be invited to share opinions on such themes as WeChat operation, Tik Tok operation, live stream operation, short video production, We-media technology, We-media marketing, We-media entrepreneurship, and others.
