With the summer vacation approaching, Zhongshan Culture & Art Center has kicked off the "Summer Melody" performance series, with the theme of "Green Summer, Colorful Culture". 

The performances will come in a great variety this year. Among them, the children's musical Mother on the Moon performed by the Guangxi Puppet Theatre, will be staged on July 19 to call on care and love for left-behind children from the whole society.

The Little Red Riding Hood adapted by Japanese Theatre Company Hikosen will be staged on July 30 and 31. The puppet drama combines music and dance and enable the children to understand the inspiration of life with exquisite animated style and humorous storyline.

The Chicken's Eggsecutive Order presented by Fong Fong Projet d' Art from Hong Kong will come in August. With innovative image effects and 6 original songs, the show aims to enable the audience to experience the beauty and preciousness of life.

Besides, a series of famous national and international troupes will come along with excellent performances. Life Would Be Perfect, If Every Moment Is Just Like the First Met, the first dance drama for "The First Ci Poet in 500 Years" Nalan Xingde, will meet Zhongshan audience on the coming Friday night (July 5).

Young violinist Gao Can will present a solo concert on July 13 joined by young pianist Wu Qiong. Meanwhile, classical guitar gifted Anna Pietrzak will join hands with outstanding young pianist Carl Petersson to present the Love in the Distance duet concert in the Small Theater.

In addition, a series of excellent programs including the "Natural Voice" Concert of Asi Matathias the World-class Violinist, the "Romantic Gentleman" Sax-O-Fun Belgium concert and etc will be presented to the audience in succession.

Zhongshan Culture & Art Center will provide a total of 800 free tickets of 6 performances to migrant workers' children in Zhongshan. From July 3 to 14, these children under 16 can get one free ticket each for a children's play with accompanying children card, residence booklet or ID card.
