As summer vacation starts, tens of theme activities concerning the children of migrant workers have been launched in Zhongshan by government departments, town-level communities, social organizations and caring enterprises.

As of July 10, the 5h Banfu "Little Migrant Birds" Summer Camp has enrolled more than 600 students. The camp, with more places this year, will be held from July 17 to August 17 with a rising enrollment quota. In the past 4 years, "Little Migrant Birds" Summer Camp attracted over 1,700 students in total.

Besides, from early July, a series of theme activities are conducted across the city to bring love to kids, including the "Torch Love for Children of Migrant Workers" Public Welfare Summer Camp in Torch Development Zone, the Caring the Kids of Migrant Workers Summer Camp in Tanzhou, the "Love in Xiaolan" Public Welfare Activity in Xiaolan, series lectures of summer holiday safety education for the kids of migrant workers in Sanxiang, and the "800 Free Ticket for Summer Vacation Shows to Children of Migrant Workers" activity of Zhongshan Zhongshan Culture & Art Center.

As one of the Zhongshan Top 10 Livelihood Projects for 2019, the "Care Movement for Children of Migrant Workers" initiated by the Zhongshan Women's Federation aims to build 10 parent-child reading bases in communities (villages) with a large population of migrant workers. The project also plans to carry out "Sunshine Art Classrooms" in 20 inclusive private schools to provide art training to 6,000 students.
