The Gobi Heroes Challenge hiking, body-building activity initiated by 18 business associations and 9 private enterprises in Zhongshan was launched in the city recently.

The organizer has selected participating entrepreneurs in the manner of crowd-funding. They will hike through the Dunhuang section of the ancient Silk Road in 3 days and 2 nights. The 88-kilometer-journey will cover desert, the Gobi Desert, canyon and Yadan landform. The first group of participants will start their expedition in September.

According to the organizer, the race held in the Gobi Desert will allow participants to experience the hardship of surpassing their limits in a severe natural environment and stir up their great life potential. In recent years, this kind of game is becoming popular in many large cities in China. Many well-known domestic entrepreneurs such as Liu Chuanzhi and Wang Shi have ever participated in such hiking activities in the Gobi Desert.

The organizer also hope this game can become one of the methods boosting the group development of member companies of business associations. It is hoped that participants who were previously strange to each other can break down the trust barriers, develop a better social relationship, and easily find quality client resources and cooperative partners through mutual assistance and communication during the hiking activity.
