The launch ceremony of the "Chinese Dream-Youth Baseball and Softball Development and Public Welfare Tour" under the theme "Making the Youth and China Better" and the opening ceremony of the Xiangshan Baseball and Softball Club were both organized at its indoor training ground on September 22.

According to chairman Chen Zhaoyang, the Xiangshan Baseball and Softball Club will recruit players from primary and secondary schools  in the city, and provide them free training and services for one year.

The Xiangshan Baseball and Softball Club is a sports institution integrating basic education training, coach training for baseball and softball, teacher training, as well as baseball and softball tournament planning, investment and operation. This Club has invited Tang Zhaojun, the famous Chinese baseball and softball champion coach, as the head coach, and provided the best baseball and softball services to all walks of life, with the indoor professional training ground.

This Club will at the same time explore the "Internet + sports" strategic cooperation, with the support of Tencent sports, Tencent education resources advantages, in view of achieving online and offline resource sharing and advantage complementation.

Xiangshan Baseball and Softball Club has presently signed cooperation agreements with dozens of schools in Zhongshan city, and successfully entered 5 primary and secondary schools to carry out teaching activities in a bid to help schools form and train baseball teams.

According to the plan,  this Club will cooperate with more than 20 schools by late 2019.
