In celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China, a peony and landscape traditional Chinese painting show of Zhao Yue, with the theme "Celebrate for the Motherland, Bloom in a Prosperous Age", opened at the Zhongshan Museum of Art. The show exhibits 60 of Zhao Yue's peony and landscape traditional Chinese paintings. 

Zhao Yue on the same day donated two paintings to the Zhongshan Museum of Art. 

Born in 1957 in Xiangtan, hometown of Master Qi Baishi, Zhao Yue is now the president of the Chinese Baishi Painting Academy. 

"Zhongshan is the hometown of a great man, with a strong cultural heritage and vigorous development of various kinds of arts. It is a great honour for my works to be exhibited here," Zhao Yue said.

The show will end on October 29.
