The Zhongshan Chorus Season 2019 opened on the evening of October 30 at the Zhongshan Culture & Art Center square.

The chorus season will last nearly 3 months, during which the city will hold such activities as chorus workshop "Who Will Listen to Your Concert" and lecture on the importance of piano instruction "the Roles in a Chorus".

Meanwhile, during the 2019 Zhongshan Chorus Week themed "Me and My Motherland", choruses from Jiangmen, Foshan, Shenzhen, Zhuhai, Dongguan, Huizhou, Guangzhou, Zhaoqing and Macao will give performances and exchange their views at the chorus concert to be held in Zhongshan.

On November 19, the closing ceremony of the Chorus Week and the Symphonic Chorus Poetic Drama "Mythology of China" will also be staged at the Grand Theater of the Zhongshan Culture & Art Center. Guangzhou Symphony Orchestra will work hand in hand with the choir of South China Normal University, Zhongshan Chorus and Zhongshan Second Chorus to bring a splendid audiovisual feast to Zhongshan audiences.
