On the eve of the 153rd anniversary of Sun Yat-sen's birth, the Zhongshan Municipal Committee of CPPCC held a symposium on the afternoon of November 11 to brief on the construction of the humanistic CPPCC, the construction of Sun Yat-sen Culture in the past decade and the work of "Great Literature and History".

At the meeting, 16 organizations, including the Zhongshan Sun Yat-sen Research Association and Hong Kong's Ta Kung Pao, discussed various positive measures and materials used to promote Sun Yat-sen Culture, including the Chinese Tunic Suit, Sun Yat-sen commemorative stamps, and "Sun Yat-Sen Culture Tour" in Guangdong, Hong Kong and Macao.

The research group of the National Institute of Cultural Development, Wuhan University introduced the compiling ideas and assumptions of the Outline of Sun Yat-sen Culture Exchange and Cooperation Plan (Exposure Draft) and the Outline of Zhongshan Work Plan for Great Literature and History (Exposure Draft).

After the symposium, a performance gala was held to showcase the Sun Yat-sen Culture achievements in the past decade at Zhongshan Broadcasting & Television Station.
