The 2nd China (Zhongshan) Sports Dance National Open and the 3rd Zhongshan Youth Sports Dance Open were organized in the Zhongshan Stadium on December 1. 

A total of 2,121 dancers from 90 teams from across the country participated in the competitions of Group A, Elite Group, Amateur Group and the completions for colleges and universities, middle schools and primary schools.

Live webcasting and online voting were launched for the first time for these state-level events sponsored by the Chinese Dance Sport Federation, with a click rate of more than 300,000 across the country via the internet. Some 83 little dancers were rewarded through online voting.

In addition, the competition committee also organized a charity dance ball, which was a high-level dance performance offered to Zhongshan citizens.
