Dickson Tong, also known as Tang Ti-sheng, from Xiangshan County, was a well-known scriptwriter of Cantonese opera. He had written plays such as The Legend of Purple Hairpin, The Flower Princess and Revival of Red Plum are well-known to the Chinese community. This salon specially invited Cantonese opera experts from Guangdong and Hong Kong and many talented Cantonese opera performers to come together to tell you about the life of Dickson Tong and perform some of his classic works.
