The Sun Yat-sen Culture Exchange and Cooperation Plan Outline was recently released launched by the Zhongshan Municipal Committee Office of Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) and the National Institute of Cultural Development of Wuhan University.

It is reported that the Outline proposes to establish and improve Sun Yat-sen Culture exchange and cooperation mechanisms, steadily push forward the construction of Sun Yat-sen Culture exchange and cooperation platforms, carry out in-depth construction of Sun Yat-sen Culture exchange and cooperation projects, and strive to promote the development of integrated Sun Yat-sen Culture exchange and cooperation.

The Outline mentions that a Sun Yat-sen Culture International Exchange Center will be built in Zhongshan City along with a global exchange and cooperation system.

The Outline proposes that by 2025, the 100th anniversary of Xiangshan County's renaming as Zhongshan County and Dr Sun Yat-sen's death, the concept of "Sun Yat-sen Culture" will be widely accepted and profoundly recognized across China, with its international communication power being significantly strengthened.
