Zhang Yiyou, general manager of Zhongshan Jinghua Culture & Film Co Ltd, said that distributors would offer more classic films. "These films are mainly used to help cinemas to attract audience. When releasing these films, we will also reduce the ticket prices or provide popcorn and drink for free."

It is understood that during the epidemic, the Radio and Television Administration of Guangdong Province recently proposed a plan to allocate support funds, in which 1,337 cinemas affected by the epidemic in Guangdong province will receive a total subsidy of 48.88 million yuan. Some 68 Zhongshan companies are covered by the plan and will receive 1.9 million yuan of subsidies.
