The First Xiangshan Children's Painting Festival and Theme Painting Competition were launched on March 29 at Zhongshan Museum of Art.

The competition is themed at the "Year of Overall Well-being, Painting of Children's Chinese Dream". From March 29 to May 21, children aged 3 to 12 in Zhongshan City will be invited to join this festival with their paintings that are themed at building an all-round comfortable society, overcoming poverty, beautifying villages, and revitalizing Zhongshan's economy.

The competition is divided into three groups according to age ranges: Young children group (3-6 years old), children group (7-9 years old) and junior group (10-12 years old). The paintings can be submitted through an online submission channel. The prizes of the competition worth around 150,000 yuan.

During the collection period, parents can take pictures of their children's paintings in JPEG format, and upload them on the special page of "Children's Painting Competition" of the official WeChat account of Zhongshan Business Daily via mobile phone.
