Sanjiao Town on April 19 held the first "Voluntary River Patrol" activity of this year, with the theme "Safeguarding Mother River", on the Wusha River in Jiemin Village.

More than 60 volunteers, including staff from the Sanjiao Township government, canoe volunteer service team members and social volunteers, were divided into two groups to take turns to carry out river patrol and protection activities on the 8-kilometer-long river sections. 

They rode on canoes to pick floating garbage on the river surface and at the same time to spread environmental protection knowledge to the people on both sides of the river.
