At 8:00 pm on June 1, Children's Day, the Sports and Youth Program Center of China Media Group launched a special program "Our Festival". The Little Cuckoo Chorus of Zhongshan Xiaolan Guangyuan School was invited to participate in the filming of the "Hundred Choirs and Thousand Students Sing Online" program. The videos by 3 Zhongshan children were broadcast on the CCTV program.

On May 10 this year, Xiaolan Guangyuan School received the invitation from the Sports and Youth Program Center. Principal Wei Yinhao said that in 2019, the school's Little Cuckoo Chorus participated in the 10th China Charming School Chorus Festival and won the first prize of the primary school group, and it caught the attention of CCTV's program team.

In order to highlight the cultural features of Sun Yat-sen's hometown, the school chose Sun Wen Memorial Park as one of the shooting sites and let the students sing under the statue of Dr Sun Yat-sen, said Wei Yinhao. Tenglong Pavilion in Xiaolan Longshan Park also appeared in the video.
