The month-long "Expecting Pottery-Kiln" He Zhanquan Ceramic Art Exhibition was previewed on June 13 at Xiaolan Town's New Era Civilization Practice Center and officially opened on June 15.

The exhibition shows the development and growth of Xiaolan ceramic master He Zhanquan in the past decades, displaying more than 80 works he has created over the last 40 years.

"Guangdong Traditional Architecture Pottery Sculpture Crest Tile Making Techniques" is one of the municipal intangible cultural heritage projects in Xiaolan Town. The master, He Zhanquan, a native of Xiaolan, is a famous craftsman in Lingnan traditional architecture. With his enthusiasm for ceramic art, he brought back to Xiaolan the traditional pottery sculpture techniques he learned in Foshan for many years.
