The activity series entitled "'Watching the Times' Mission and Responsibility for Fighting Against COVID-19 Documentary Photography" kicked off on the morning of August 8 at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library.

As one of the activities, a photography exhibition recording the fight against COVID-19 started in Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library that morning.

The exhibition is divided into two parts. The first part showed the works of some China Photographers Association (CPA) members and of CPA's photography team members who went to Hubei to record the fight against the epidemic. The other part showed anti-epidemic related works by Liang Houxiang, former Director of the Zhongshan Health Bureau, which truly revisit touching moments from the epidemic prevention and control battle from different aspects.

"The medical workers involved are really great, and they stood tall when everyone was scared," said Ms Chen, a Zhongshan citizen who enjoys the exhibition. "We are all onlookers of the times, and we should also respect the people who guard us."
