On the evening of August 20, the 12th Zhongshan Book Fair opened at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library.

The opening ceremony this year incorporated a stage play for the first time. At the sound of the bell ringing, the "Literary Zhongshan · Magic House for Book Lovers" opened on the stage, and the interesting reading festivities officially began.

In combination with the requirements for COVID-19 prevention and control, this year's Zhongshan Book Fair will be held both online and off-line simultaneously. Book exhibitions were held at 25 physical bookstores, and lectures and reading activities were held at Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library as well as libraries and bookstores in towns and districts.
