The 2020 Guangdong Youth Checkers Championship was held in Xiaolan Town from October 3 to 7.

The championship was divided into a team competition and an individual competition, featuring a 100-grid checkerboard (U7-U17) section, 100-grid open group section, a 64-grid checkerboard (U7-U17) section, and a 64-grid open group section, attracting 587 athletes from 52 teams made up of people from Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Foshan, and Zhongshan.
