The 7th Mulberry Cultural Tourism Festival in Zhongshan and South District All-for-one Tourism Demonstration Zone Development Campaign were launched on the morning of March 8 at Xujing Agricultural Science Park.

According to the head of Xujing Agricultural Science Park, some 150,000 kg of mulberries are expected to be harvested this year meeting the needs of up to 100,000 tourists. The restaurant in the park also provides delicious food made from mulberry leaves. Other supporting facilities in the park such as hiking trails, picnic and barbecue areas, farm food dining areas and children's playground are also provided.

Now until next month, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, green dates, papaya and other fruits in the park will be made available so tourists can enjoy the beautiful scenery and try the delicious food at the same time.

South District is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese in Zhongshan with many rich special cultural tourism spots including Zhan's Garden and Xujing Agricultural Science Park. It was rated as one of the top tourist towns in Guangdong. Currently, South District is also striving to be a model provincial "all-for-one tourism zone".
