The 2nd East District Reading Culture Campaign kicked off on the afternoon of April 10.

The event organizer presented a flag to the East District Reading Volunteer Service Team and awarded the 2020 East District Excellent Reading Star and Excellent Reading Promoter honors. In addition, awards were also given to winners of the "Harmonious Zhongshan, Happy New Year, Building a Well-off Society" event.

At the activity, a book publishing and donation ceremony was held for "The Record of Zhongshan's Reform and Opening-up" series and "Zhongshan Contemporary Literary Masters (Series I)".

After the ceremony, a forum themed "Review of Zhongshan's Centennial Journey" was held. Huang Chunhua, director of the Party History Research Office of the Zhongshan Municipal Party Committee, Huang Xiangnong, author of "Legend of the Heroes of Wuguishan Mountain", Ling Zhikun, a senior Party member, and Huang Yuejin, a descendant of a Pearl River Army veteran, introduced Zhongshan's centennial journey to the audience through rich historical pictures and vivid narration.
