The "Winds of Change - Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort, the Epitome of Reform and Opening-up in Zhongshan" exhibition and "Lixi During the Reform and Opening-up Period – Zhongshan's 'Production-related Laborer Contract System' Memorial Exhibition" officially opened to public on May 29 at Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort in Sanxiang Town and Lixi Village in Banfu Town respectively. On the same day, Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort Reform and Opening-up Party History Education Base was unveiled.

Zhongshan Hot Spring Resort was opened on December 28, 1980, and it was the first joint international hotel project after the reform and opening-up period. The four areas of the exhibition show Zhongshan's arduous reform process in depth through diversified media sources, such as historical pictures, video images, scene re-enactments, and interactive experiences.

Lixi Village was among the first to implement the "production-related laborer contract system" in China more than 40 years ago and is known as "the pioneer of rural reform in Guangdong". "Lixi During the Reform and Opening-up Period – Zhongshan's 'Production-related Laborer Contract System' Memorial Exhibition" vividly shows the entire reform process and the pioneer spirit.
