With the theme of "An Account on the Spirit of Innovation and Recording the New Era", a sharing session was held in a Zhongshan Broadcasting & Television Station on June 22.

Social science workers Xie Changgui, Qiu Huisheng and Guo Danling told the audience stories of outstanding Party members from different historical periods in Zhongshan and the history of Zhongshan's development since the reform and opening-up period from many aspects. The audience learned from the program how the courage and sense of responsibility of Party members has been passed down from generation to generation.

In recent years, social science workers have endeavored towards resolving major theoretical and practical issues regarding the overall, strategic and prospective economic and social development in Zhongshan. They serve as a "think tank" for policy-making consulting in Zhongshan.
