The UK Zhongshan Association (Chamber of Commerce) launched its 2021 Zhongshan Food Festival online on November 20.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, many UK-based Zhongshan and GBA people have not been able to return home to visit their relatives and friends for a long time. The online food festival offered an opportunity for them to learn cooking skills in order to ease their homesickness.

Starting November, the UK Zhongshan Association has invited famous restaurants in Zhongshan to share local dishes through videos, so that overseas Chinese in Britain can learn new recipes from hometown.
