With the theme of "Gathering Charity Strength, Building a Love City", the 35th Zhongshan Charity Parade 2022 has recently kicked off.

A simple donation ceremony was held on January 26, and city leaders including Guo Wenhai, Xiao Zhanxin, Zhuang Shujun, Chen Wenfeng and Ouyang Guiyou made donations to the event. Guo Wenhai, secretary of the CPC Zhongshan Municipal Committee and director of the Standing Committee of the Zhongshan Municipal People's Congress, encouraged citizens to carry forward charitable spirit and make the charity culture a shiny city brand of Zhongshan.

Zhongshan Charity Parade was held for the first time in 1988, and a total donation worth 1.7 billion yuan has been made through this event over the past 30 years. It has become a unique spiritual culture brand that Zhongshan people are proud of. So far this year, Zhongshan Charity Parade has raised a donation worth 30 million yuan.
