Starting the evening of March 7, just before International Women's Day, a light show with the theme of "Paying Tribute to Women" was performed across Zhongshan. Landmark buildings, such as Dasin Metro-Mall and Hongyu Tower, lit up to pay tribute to women who have made outstanding contributions to Zhongshan's economic and social development.

The show will last for 2 nights. In addition to major landmark buildings in downtown Zhongshan, outdoor advertising facilities in towns and districts, such as electronic displays, TVs in residential blocks, billboards and bus stops will also display such slogans as "Paying Tribute to Women" and "Happy Holidays to All Women in Zhongshan"  to celebrate International Women's Day and inspire women to learn from models and work hard to make more contributions in different areas.
