The 14th Zhongshan Book Fair is about to open. The most welcome Expert Lectures will start first on the coming Saturday (August 6) at the Sun Yat-sen Memorial Library. Professor Ning Ling, vice chancellor of Guangdong Ocean University, will give a lecture about the human awareness of marine values and the benefits of marine economic development for the public.

Seven experts from various fields will talk about development from such dimensions as economy, history, culture and parent-child education. The lectures are scheduled from August 6 to August 28. In addition to on-site participation, citizens can also watch the live broadcast or playbacks through the Zhongshan Book Fair Online platform.

The 14th Zhongshan Book Fair will include online and offline activities, such as Read Together, city readathon, traditional culture knowledge contest, classics reading contest and photo contest. A Zhongshan Book Fair Online platform will be set up to create an everlasting book fair.
