The 7th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of Guangdong opened at the Ruyuan Yao Autonomous County Gymnasium in Shaoguan City on the evening of August 23. More than 3,300 outstanding athletes from 22 delegations across Guangdong will compete with each other.

Zhongshan delegation consisting of over 100 athletes will participate in Pearl Ball, CuQiu, Shuttlecock, Tibetan Tug-of-War, Stilt Racing, Board Shoe Racing, National Aerobics and other events.

Outstanding athletes will take part in the 12th national ethnic minority games in Hainan Province next year representing Guangdong.

The 7th National Traditional Games of Ethnic Minorities of Guangdong will end on August 28.
