The 2nd Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Culture and Arts Festival, co-sponsored by the People's Government of Guangdong Province, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region and the Macao Special Administrative Region Government, is being held from August 31 to September 30.

With the theme of "Praising the Accomplishments of the Greater Bay Area", the festival includes a wide range of cooperative exchange activities in literature, film and television, music, dance, traditional Chinese opera, Chinese folk art, acrobatics, fine arts and calligraphy across 11 cities in the Greater Bay Area.

The opening ceremony was held on the evening of August 31 at the Xinghai Concert Hall in Guangzhou. During this year's festival, more than 150 cultural performances will tour in cities all over the Greater Bay Area, and 11 cities will also launch their own distinctive cultural and artistic events to show the cultural prosperity of the Greater Bay Area.
