The launch ceremony of the 2022 Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Day activities was held at Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Park (formerly Zhongshan Nursing Home for the Elderly) on November 10.

The launch ceremony, held both online and offline, brought together overseas Chinese leaders, overseas Chinese businessmen, and overseas students from nearly 20 countries and regions around the world such as the US, Canada, Australia, Singapore and Malaysia, as well as representatives from Hong Kong and Macao.

This year marks the 13th Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Day. A series of activities, including the project initiating of Zhongshan Overseas Chinese Park, online workshops for overseas Chinese leaders and core members of overseas Chinese groups, cooking-themed short videos, and etc.

Zhongshan is a famous hometown of overseas Chinese, with more than 1 million Zhongshanese people living in nearly 100 countries and regions around the world.
