The two-day Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Regatta 2022 Guangzhou was rounded off on December 18.

Divided into the FE26 adult group and the J70 junior group, the competition attracted some 80 sailors of 15 teams from the cities in the Greater Bay Area.

This is the first time that Guangzhou has been set as a stop of the GBA Regatta and the junior group was introduced. Zhongshan Sailing Team and Zhongshan Junior Sailing Team took part in the competition this year.

In the FE26 adult group, Zhongshan Sailing Team finished first after six rounds with an overall score of 6 points to claim the title. 

In the J70 junior group, Zhongshan Junior Sailing Team came in fifth overall in their debut.
