Xinhua News Agency has recently launched a video series Living in China 2022, in which some foreign residents living in Beijing, Tianjin, Suzhou and Zhongshan reviewed their lives in 2022 and look into the year ahead.
Zhongshan International Communication Center, run by Zhongshan Daily, assisted Xinhua in interviewing Adrian Berzenji from Canada and Selma Durakovic from Bosnia.
Adrian has lived in China for nine years and is currently teaching English at University of Electronic Science and Technology, Zhongshan Institute. His wish for 2022 was to learn Chinese well, which will remain his wish for 2023.
Selma, who usually makes and sells handiwork, finds technology is the most impressive thing in China, especially the online shopping technology, which is not only convenient but also has created a lot of business opportunities. She is looking forward to the year ahead, hoping to travel in more places and make more friends.
Living in China 2022, which comprises five episodes, will be broadcast on Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, as well as Xinhua's English website and App.
